Diff'RENT FolkZ is the creative vision of Robin Rountree, a multifaceted performer hailing from Chicago, IL. With a background in Business Management and a minor in Music Performance from Chicago State University, Robin has displayed her talents on the global stage. She have recorded and performed with a host of renowned artists, including Randy Hall (Artist, Producer and composer of "The Man with the Horn" for Miles Davis), the late Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Klymaxx, Skee-Lo ("I Wish" I was a little bit taller...) Tone Loc, Pamela Williams "The Saxtress," Nadirah Shakoor (featured artist with Jimmy Buffett), and P!NK. Whether as a bassist, vocalist, or both, Robin's versatility shines through!
